Gunnislake
Facts. What to see. Eating and drinking.
| Gunnislake, is a
large village set in the heart of the Tamar Valley and gateway to
Cornwall. It grew up during the busy industrial years of Cornwall's
history and is rich in industrial archaeology. It is within Calstock Parish and is twinned with St Thuriau in Brittany. There are many interesting things to do and see, with the whole of Cornwall to explore all within a short distance. The City of Plymouth just a short, beautiful trip on the train, and Dartmoor just a stones-throw away, actually within sight. Enjoy your stay. |
